We met at a mutual friend’s party because we kept running into each other at the snack table. We would go off and do our own mingly thing and then tuck back to the chips & salsa table for a reload. After running into each other about 3 times there (and feeling so embarassed about it) we introduced ourselves and got to chatting. He asked for my number later that night and our first date was at a now defunct restaurant named Rooster. I was sold on him, though, 2 dates later when he asked me to go on a bike ride. In addition to a glimpse into everything I love about him now, I thought he looked so cute in his shorts, t-shirt, black fleece vest & flip-flops! We are celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary this May and have two, spunky little girls.
